this dish has different names, one of them is munguzá, which is prepared in different occasions in my country: for childreen, for erês – childreen spirits and also as ebô – the food, the orixás eat in homage to oxalá.

we also believe it is good for producing milk when we are breast feeding

this time i prepared it with my mom for our dear friends marianne, zoe, ettore and luca.
