preserving food, menu with garbage of food and a radio program

inspired by my last meeting with lynn (www.foodsystemsplanning.com), a sensible artist and green activist – when she invited me to make an “action” /workshop together with her, involving foraging fruits in berlin and canning – i made this marmalade made with nectarine, apple and lemon. thank you dear suzy, for introducing us. we are having a nice time together planning that event. we might present the first edition of “sharezine” (www.shareyourfood.wordpress.com)during this action.

i imagined to serve this marmalade, rescuing an old grandmother recipe with a new shape, with tempura and use the green of carrots – which many people use to throw it away. and that maybe inspire people to think about reduce garbage of food. this came out like this today, during my interview for krista.s radio program:
